Near the end of this text, Jesus goes searching after the man born blind. This man had just courageously confirmed the miraculous event to the Pharisees knowing they could reject him and banish him into the religious hinterland.
Our God is simply that committed to us. He will search us and find us to continue his relationship with us. I don’t know if the man’s testimony converted anyone or convinced anyone of the power of Christ but it didn’t matter, it was his heart Christ saw. This man had been changed by his relationship with Christ and he confessed Christ via his heart.
Are we the same way? Are we confessing our faith in Christ with our hearts?
